It’s time, I suppose, to take down the tree. But with nary a snowflake this season, and a wrongly-warm Christmas Day, I want to hold out awhile longer in hopes that we may be graced with at least a bit of snow. Besides, it seems that the sparkle of a tree is needed most in the winter gloom of January, to greet us at the close of the long routine of work days stretching into the months ahead.
You should at least leave it up until after 3 Kings Day. I think I’ll take mine down mid January. Your little ‘natural’ owl looks so cute!
