When I was a little girl, my family said grace at every meal, and it went like this: “thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you God for everything. ” The work that I do immerses me in the darkest side of what people are capable of doing to children. This blog is my small way of embracing the good in the daily routine of my days, and the people and critters that I love.
