I love decorating for the holidays. This year I decided on trees for the mantle. I started with a mesh tree that my sister scouted out for me at Building Character. Today I scavenged through my craft supplies, determined not to go out to a craft store, and created three more trees. Tree one was made from pale gold wallpaper found at the Lancaster Creative Reuse store, and vintage beaded string, stars and glitter. It started out like this:
Trees two and three were created from magazines. This is what they looked like all folded and ready to decorate:
Gold paint, lime green paint and lots of glitter transformed them into this:
You’re so creative! These turned out very nice. Can’t wait to see your mantle.
Love it.
Love your creativity!
Pretty, pretty, pretty! Love the lights inside and the old lace.
